This will happen when the Assembly adopts the amendments to the Law on Salaries of Civil Servants and State Employees, which are now in the process.
The changes specify that the material position of employed employees, who are classified from the third to the sixth pay group, will be improved.
The law, as it is written in the explanation, is passed in order to compare the evaluation of the accompanying auxiliary-technical jobs in the state bodies as much as possible with the jobs performed by the civil servants.
For performing jobs of similar complexity, but in the reference titles of civil servants, coefficients in the range of 1.40 to 2.18 have been determined, depending on the achieved work results, while for employees of the same level of qualification classified in the fourth pay group, the coefficient has been determined. of 1.5 without the possibility of progress and a permanent increase in the coefficient based on the achieved results of work.
When the law is passed, a difference will be made in relation to the jobs of employees for which primary school is required and a lower level of qualifications, and whose paid salary has so far been equal to employees whose jobs require secondary vocational education.
It is noted in the law that, considering that the basis for calculating the salaries of employees in state bodies grew slower than the minimum wage, the basic salaries of employees whose jobs are classified from the fourth to the sixth pay group remained below the minimum wage, reports Tanjug .
The initiative to amend the Law on Salaries of Civil Servants and State Employees came from the representative unions of employees in state bodies, which proposed an increase in the coefficient for calculating and paying salaries of state employees, given the nature of state employees and their contribution to the functioning of bodies, especially in the judiciary. required increase in coefficients.
For the implementation of the law, it is necessary to provide additional financial resources in the budget for 2022 in the amount of 14 percent of the planned mass of funds for salaries of employees in 2022, ie 468,749,234.26 dinars in gross amount.
As it is stated, the funds for the implementation of that law in 2023 and 2024 will be planned within the limits determined by the law and the budget for each budget year.
